What's New for 2018-19
ECAP Tracker Reports
Arizona requires that every high school student have an Education and Career Action Plan (ECAP) in place to help plan for their futures. This process results in a student portfolio that documents several years of exploration, activity and goal setting. With the new ECAP Tracker, administrators can determine which activities and documents comprise a complete portfolio at each grade level, then track students’ completion of these components.
Additionally, Site Administrators can create custom reports to track progress of items within AzCIS. You can access ECAP Tracker in the Planning Tools under Reports.
STEM jobs are now indicated in the Occupation Index and you can Filter on them as well. STEM Occupations require education in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
Summary Report for Occupations
At a Glance Occupation reports are graphically pleasing, easy to read, and are nice one-page printouts for users.
Each report includes:
- A gauge chart of Annual Wages (with median wage)
- Bar chart showing Current Employment
- Bar chart showing Annual Openings
- Percentage of 10 Year Growth
- List of Preparation tasks
- List of Working Conditions
- Career Cluster of occupation
346 additional occupation videos for users have been added. These new videos are updated and have a fresh look and feel.
WorkKeys topics and filters are added to Occupations. Based on ACT WorkKeys®, scores are provided for six different categories: Applied Math, Applied Technology, Business Writing, Locating Information, Workplace Documents, and Workplace Observation. The user is presented with the minimum, median, and maximum score required for each occupation.
AzCIS already integrates with Clever to provide students with an instant single sign-on (SSO) login to their AzCIS accounts. Now, Clever Secure Sync provides the next step in automation by integrating with the school SIS and syncing accounts to AzCIS on a daily basis. Best of all, this integration is available at no additional cost to you.
